Amr Arafa

Amr Arafa is an Egyptian director brought up in the artistic family of the famous Egyptian cinema director Saad Arafa, Amr is the younger brother of director Sherif Arafa. Amr began as a cinema producer with Ya Mahalbia Ya in 1991 and Dehk We Leab We Gad We Hob (Laughter, Play, Seriousness and Love) in 1993.
Throughout his career, Amr Arafa directed many superstars including Adel Imam, Ahmed El Sakka, Ahmed Helmy, Ahmed Ezz, Khaled Saleh, Basma, Ghada Adel, Ahmed Rizk, Layla Elwy, and Fathy Abd El Wahab.

His most notable works as a director in both cinema and TV are El Sifara Fe El Imara (The Embassy in The Building), Zahaimar (Alzheimers), Ibn El Consol (The Son of The Consul), Gaalatny Mogreman (She Made Me a Criminal), Africano, El Shabah (The Ghost), Helm Aziz (Azizs' Dream), and El Eyada (The Clinic) Season I and II. Amr Arafa also directed Layla Elwy in three episodes of Lahazat Harega Season I.
