Latifa

A Tunisian singer who was introduced to Egypt and gained immense fame from using the words of the great poet Abd El Wahab Mohamed in her songs and releasing countless hit albums. She is considered one of the most significant singers in the Arab World and she continues releasing successful songs and albums to this day. Latifa also had a successful acting experience with the renowned, late, director Yousef Chahin, who had specifically selected her to be his star in his movie "Sekout Hansawar" which was shown in 2001. Rouby, Ahmed Wafik and Ahmed Bedeer also co-starred with Latifa in the movie. She was a guest star in an episode of Lahazat Harega season one playing herself.
